Hi, What do I need to be able to play my iTunes library from my Mac to my TV?

Can current Apple TVs access legacy iTunes library? We have the majority of our music, videos, and podcasts in our iTunes library (6TB hosted on a cheeze-grater MacPro running Mojave (MacOS 10.14)). The library is shared and we connect to it with our MacBook Pros, iPhone, and Mini. Can the newer Apple TVs see the older local-network iTunes library or does it only see media streaming from the cloud?
