Follow this procedure to get the highest version of iMovie that your operating system will run. This assumes that at one point in time you had an earlier version of iMovie on your computer, though you might have deleted it:
To update/redownload iMovie 10, drag your iMovie 10 app from the Applications folder into the trash, but do not empty the
trash. (You can skip that step if you had iMovie 10 on your computer before, but deleted it.) Sign in to the app store and open your purchases folder by clicking on your name at the bottom of the app store side bar. You will see your purchases displayed, including iMovie 10. Redownload/update iMovie from there. If not successful, drag your present iMovie app out of the trash (if you moved it there) and return it to the Applications folder.

Update your Mojave to a higher version if you can.
However, if you follow the procedure that I gave you in my previous post you should be able to update/redownload the highest version of iMovie that your operating system will run. You had iMovie before so you can update/redownload it. There should be no incompatibility. Did you try to redownload iMovie from your purchases folder, and what happened when you tried? Did you get a message and, if so, what did it say? Can you post a screen shot of your purchases folder?

Rich said update your version of Mojave if you can.
Latest and last version of Mojave, 10.14.6, is here, click on this link
https://support.apple.com/kb/DL2010?locale=en_GB
After you have done that you will be able to download the latest version of iMovie.
The procedure outlined by Rich would have given you a version of iMovie that was compatible with your Mojave 10.14.2
"In my purchases also it showing imovie which is not compatible with mac 10.14.2 mojave"
I don't think your Purchased page gives any information about the version number?????
Thank you Rich for your help, I found it.
