I am trying to clean out my archive folder using rules.
When I say my Archive Folders I am referring to the auto generated archive folders within Mac Mail not any manual created archive folders.
It does not work at all. Is there some reason for this?

Rules only work automatically on incoming emails. If an email is already in your rmail client you need to apply the rule mannually.
