iPad only charging if connector is held at specific angles. (Not a dirty port)

My iPad has recently had issues with it's charging port where the connector has to be held at specific angles (usually up or down). The port appears clean but I've tried cleaning it anyways with no change to the problem. I've tried multiple chargers and they all have to be held at an angle. Issues that appear when it's not held at an angle include the iPad just not charging as if it was unplugged, the "Not Charging" message appearing next to the battery icon and getting the "This accessory may not be supported." pop up.
