Force folders (on NAS) to move to trash

I have a folder located on a NAS that I am unable to move to trash. I keep getting the following:

"The operation can't be completed because some items had to be skipped. For each item, choose File > Get Info, make sure "Locked" is deselected, and then checkthe Sharing & Permissions section. When you are sure the items are unlocked and not designated as Read only or No Access, try again."

The folder has multiple sub-folders and many, many files. It is unreasonable to go through each and every one to verify the settings.

Is there a way to "force" the folder to delete?

Use the NAS management software to give your user full access to the files (i.e. make your user the owner). You should be able to do that all at once.

The NAS is controlling the access, so you would have to use their tools to "force" the folder to delete.
