My phone doesn’t always ring. My husband and I both have the same phone in the same network, but sometimes mine doesn’t ring and my daughter has to call him

The phone won’t ring under these conditions:

• The MUTE switch on the left side of the phone is in the Mute position (towards the back)
• The volume is down - While the Home screen is displayed, press the Volume Up button just below the Mute switch
• Do Not Disturb is enabled - Settings/Do Not Disturb: There are two settings, the switch at the top is to mute always, the Scheduled switch allows you to set times when you don’t want to be called
• Settings/Phone - Silence Unknown Callers will send all calls from numbers not in your contacts to voicemail
• You have Call Forwarding enabled on your carrier’s network (it will ring once as a reminder)
• Your phone is in Airplane mode
• You don’t have a ringtone assigned in Settings/Sounds & Haptics
