AirPods stuttering

Hello, I recently started getting stuttering of the audio from my AirPods (1st gen) when listening to things on my iPad Air (1st gen). It doesn’t happen on my iPhone. I have tried with different apps and it happens regardless which app I’m in. I have tried forgetting and reconnecting my Airpods. I have tried resetting my AirPods by holding the button until it goes amber then white again. I have tried rebooting my iPad. My iPad is on iOS 12.4.7 which is the latest for its model. Would you please be able to help me? Thanks

"AirPods stuttering: Thanks, however none of those steps have worked for me . I think it might be something to do with bluetooth interference because whenever I get a notification come through on my Apple Watch, my AirPods stutter."

Try This:

A. First: Unpair your AirPods from All These Devices:

B. Then: Pair your AirPods to your iPhone:
