Deleted alarms keep going off

I deleted all the alarms in my iPhone SE (2nd gen). Two of them keep going off even if they don't appear in the alarms list in the Clock app.

No, it's not an issue with the "Bedtime" feature. Nor are there any alarms in Calendar, Mail or any other apps. This is specific to the Clock app.

I've already tried:

telling Siri to clear all alarms (she can't find any)
force-quitting the Clock app and restarting the phone
recreating the alarms and deleting them and restarting the phone (and variations of this)
searching here for answers (the one answer is old and addresses a similar but not exact issue)
spinning counterclockwise three times in front of a grandfather clock and chanting "tempus fugit" at the top of my voice (I'm exaggerating.)

None or which have helped.

If anyone out there has a solution, please share it. I can't be the only one with this issue.

I’m familiar with that category of alerts.

That’s not the case, however.

The alarms in question were Clock alarms I had set with custom tones. They were set to recur at specified days and times. After I deleted them, they keep going off at their set days and times. I can see the titles I gave them on the notifications that pop up on the home screen.

The issue seems to involve a bug in the Clock app itself.

I spoke with an AppleCare rep who recommended to perform a configuration reset. If that didn’t work, a full reset and a setup of the phone from scratch, not a backup.

I may try the first one, but a full reset and setup makes me think there are worse things in life than a couple ghost of alarms going off.

I hope Apple will squash this bug in a future iOS release.

Thank you for reaching out on the Apple Support Communities. It sounds like you have an alarm or alert tone going off, but you’re not sure where it is originating. If we understand correctly, you have ruled out any alarms in the Clock app, the Bedtime feature of the Clock app, and other settings in other apps.

Is it possible that you’re hearing a government alert like an Amber Alert, Public Safety, or Emergency Alert? These alerts sound similar to an alarm and can be found in Notification Center on your iPhone.

Is it possible the alarm is coming from a third-party app?
