Unable to Create MIDI Track From Flex Pitched Audio

I was recently recording a DI bass guitar that I wanted to try to layer with an 808. I enabled flex pitch for the track, and it seems to be working as normal. However when I go to the edit menu and try to click on Create a MIDI Region From Flex Data or whatever it says, that option is grayed out. I've never had this issue until recently, and it just seems strange to me. I have all advanced tools enabled and converting audio to MIDI is something that's usually very routine for me.
