How to remove Qwant search engine to safari

How to remove Qwant search engine to safari? I added it and can't get rid of it, and I've tried quite a few thing. Any help would be appreciated. It doesn't show up when I enter qwant in finder.

Hello,

To remove a configuration profile in macOS:

  1. From the Apple menu, select System Preferences....
  2. From the View menu in System Preferences, select Profiles.Note:
  3. Profiles won't be visible until you have at least one profile installed.
  4. Select the profile you want to remove, and then press the - (minus) button. Click Remove to remove the profile.

If that doesm't do it...

Workable but harder for me to work with...the Note tool on the bottom of this editor's toolbar, as shown in the image, to copy and paste the output from EtreCheck. In a Reply before you click post, look for this to add longer texts..

Hi BDAqua,

I really do hate to be a dolt, but when I go to “VIEW” menu in System Preferences, no “Profiles” tab is displayed. And I do have three separate users with passwords listed in Users & Groups. I don’t find anything concerning the Qwant that I’m trying to get rid of as my default search engine. What am I doing wrong? Thank you kindly.

I did install MWB on my MacBook and a dozen or so items were quarantined, some PUP, more Adware and one Malware. I had to restart my computer. Once it restarted I was unable to load Safari. I keep getting the message screen “Safari Can’t Connect To the Server.” I’m answering your message on my iPad. I can connect to Firefox but I’m not accustomed to using it. Thanks for any help you can provide. I’m stuck.

I am able to use Firefox on my MacBook but A LOT of sites just won’t open, this discussion board being just one of them. I have to read and write to you on my iPad or iPhone, and these devices no longer communicate with my MacBook. I just want to get Safari back up and running. I appreciate all the help you’ve been giving me. I’m not smart enough to be tech savvy, that’s why I use Apple products. A dumbbell like me usually gets along okay.
