Automation - garage door

I want to set up an automation to open my garage door when I get home. Yes im too lazy to push the button in my car. But all it does is send me an alert asking me if I want to run the automation when I get close to home. I assume this is for security as it’s opening a door unless there is something I’m missing??

However every time I arrive home I get a “time sensitive” alert asking if I want the automation to run. If I wanted to use my phone I could just open the garage myself. Garage Door automation not triggering since iOS 17.1 upgrade My garage door automation stopped working around the iOS 17.1 upgrade. Ironically, the garage door does not have a non-responsive status in the Home App. If I restart my Chamberlain Homebridge, the automation momentarily works and then it stops working again. I have tried deleting the Homebridge accessory from Apple Home and adding it back as well as rebuilding the automation -- no success.

Personal Automation on waking up I am slowly getting my head around automations, but cannot figure this one out, or even if it is possible. This is what I want it to do. When I turn off my morning alarm. Turn on bathroom light Turn on downstairs light in kitchen. I have both of the above set up as a scene in Homekit. I have set up this to work, but I have identified some extra things that I would like to happen. This only needs to happen if I am 'at home' The lights only need to come on if it is before sunrise. This is what I have set up for the first part, but its the extra bits I cannot figure. Personal Automation Alarm When - is stopped - alarms - any Add action Search - Home Control Our Home Set scenes and accessories Run 'good morning scene' All help is appreciated. Trevor
