having trouble syncing my iPhone and Mac. Im concerned I might have more than one Apple ID

Check Settings/Your Name/iCloud to see what Apple ID is signed in there. Then check System Preferences/iCloud (Apple ID for Catalina) to see what ID is there? Are they the same ID?
