Incoming calls will be silenced while iPhone is locked.

my iPhone 8 Plus automatically locks after so many minutes, so anyone else would have to use password, right?

i was on a Live Chat when the operator said he would ring my iPhone.

i was sitting there waiting and the operator said he was unsuccessful.

i looked at my iPhone and it said missed call.

i have checked, “do not disturb“ was off. Ring volume was up.

This is not the first time. iPhone is okay as someone else had rang me earlier.

Any suggestions?
