Connect my Magic keyboard to my desktop PC

Hey everybody, i really need some help i'm getting frustrated.

my gf got me the magic keyboard and the magic mouse 2, i have a desktop PC with windows software.

i got my self the BT dongle so i could connect wireless keyboards & mouse (and more) however i can not connect my keyboard not so ever.

My Bluetooth does not recognize the keyboard and i did tried to connect the keyboard to my roomate laptop (asus) with windows software as well and it all work very well.

Please what do i need to do ? i do think that it might be the dongle problem now.

I'm using a Magic Keyboard and a Magic Trackpad with my Windows computer at work. The best way to connect them to my PC and to get the most functionality out of them is via a program called Magic Utilities. It's not free but worth the money in my opinion. You can trial it free to see if it works for you. Customer support is also very good.
