Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
Everytime I plug my phone in to my imac it transfers all photos. I only want the newest un-imported photos. I have one photo that is duplicated on my computer over 1000 times and can't figure out how to eliminate it. I have "transfer to mac or pc checked and icloud Photos checked. What else do I need to do to eliminate this issue or is it normal?

Use Image Capture for manual photos import rather than Photos app or iCloud, it's the only way you can control what to import.

Native macOS app, just use Spotlight on your Mac or check Applications folder.
