Is there a way to set my device hotspot name to something other than my device name?
I know I can change my device name to change the hotspot name, but I want the hotspot network name to be something other than the device name.
This applies to both my iPhone & iPad.

There is not a way to do that.

This probably means that I should not have traded in both my android devices for apple devices. Now I have to find a way around this problem (maybe a WiFi router or something).
This did NOT solve my problem.
Or change your device’s name.
Or analyze why using your device’s name is unacceptable and address some part of the cause.
