Safari: Does "Removing history items" clear site data too?

Hi, I am pretty sure I know the answer already, and that is no 🙂.

When automatically Remove history items in Safari after 1 day or a week, it only clears the browsers history and doesn't include site data.

Clearing History and Website Data in Safari in Settings I click on Clear History and Website Data in Safari (in Settings), confirm with the second click and Clear History and Website Data is no longer highlighted. I exit Safari (in Settings) and immediately re-enter Safari (in Settings) doing absolutely nothing else and Clear History and Website Data is again highlighted (indicating that there is something there again that can be cleared). Is this normal? Thanks.

Safari Keeps Deleting all history automatically I asked to delete the history about a week ago (now every time I open it) , my history isn't being saved.

Doing it that way only clears History.

Safari menu/Clear History clears both.
