Icon Disappeared

I had my Message Icon on my home screen as well as in my dock at the bottom of my screen well now it’s gone out of my dock. How can I have it back in both places? I have an iPhone 11pro max. Please help! You’re probably thinking the one icon is ok but I need the other one back in my dock too!!

It is not possible to have the same icon showing in two different locations.
