Launching H&R Block
I just purchased H&R Block 2019 from Amazon. When I launch it the application icon jumps up and down in the dock for a few minutes then stops. The application window does not open. How do I fix this ?

FoxFifth, thank you for your response. My issue has been resolved. Here is what I did. Under System -> Security and Privacy -> General, I changed the settings for “Allow apps downloaded from” to App Store and Identified developers. Then, I restarted H&R Block Tax Software. As with previous attempts the icon for the software started hopping around in the dock. I waited patiently for about 10 minutes and then I saw the prompt screens for the software to download the latest updates. After that everything worked fine. Not sure if the security change I made was a factor or not.
