Iphone 7 can’t update apps. Used. ays it was purch
Apps said they need updates. Don’t work. Will not update. Says phone was purchased and or returned before. This was my husbands old phone from 2 years before.

Then you need to sign into the App Store using your husband's Apple ID and password that must still be on this old iPhone.
