Apple Pencil exchange
I recently got a iPad Pro 3rd gen and only own a Apple Pencil first gen witch doesn’t work with that iPad can I trade it in to get a discount on the second gen Apple Pencil

You can return something you purchased within 14 days of purchase. Unfortunately, if you bought it some time ago, Apple won't take the pencil in for trade. You could certainly put the pencil up for sale to help offset the cost of the 2nd generation pencil.
