Redeemed $20 iTunes gift card which I wanted to use on the App Store. It has just brought me up music which I don’t want. Is there a way to correct this as I must have done something wrong. Tks

Apple sells two types of gift card
1 - Apple Store Gift Cards - for use in store or online shop (products)
2 - App Store & iTunes Gift Card - for use on music, tones, audiobooks, movies and App Store.
So you can use the gift card in the App Store if you bought the second one.
Thanks for the reply James..this is new to me so sorry for what might sound stupid to you but when I put in the code on the iTunes gift card it showed a credit.
Does this mean I can go to the App Store and purchase an app and the value will be deducted automatically?

I redeemed $20 iTunes gift card but I think I must have done it through iTunes and it’s all music ..I thought I would be able to use it for apps on App Store.
