Apple TV App for IOS has stolen IP

I have a number of movies I bought through iTunes. Some are music docos and concerts. The current Apple TV App does not have chapters. I can not jump to my favourite scenes or songs.

These scenes were available when Apple sold me the movies. The feature is my IP. They have effectively stolen this from me by providing a player which does not have a chapter feature.

moreover there is no file operating system on an iPad so I can not just open the video with a better player.

Apple TV is a sub-optimal App. It is not fit for purpose. Apple fix it or stop selling movies which can not play properly.

Technically correct. They have simply provided a suboptimal player which does not allow me to use a valuable feature of the video/movie which I have used for years.

And I can't easily play the videos on a better player like VLC. So perhaps I need to lug my laptop around and use the old iTunes App. Which is better than Apple TV but still not as good as other Apps. And I now have two devices and chargers.

Apple TV is a poor solution and has devalued the iPad. They are losing their way.
