How do I change my child’s email address?

How do I change my nine year old email address in family sharing? iCloud email just doesn’t have enough storage space.

Kids email address/family sharing I created iCloud email addresses for my kids when they were younger which I use for family sharing and they use for email. They are now teenagers and I would like to change their email addresses to something more age appropriate/professional. Is there a good way to do this? Should I deactivate their old email addresses and start new?

My child has an ID but I need to change the email address. They are already on Family Sharing, but I don't have the option to remove them and start over or to change their email address. The existing email address is a school address, and they are going to lose that one soon. I would like to establish an iCloud account for them, but don't know where I go from here.
