Disappearing ratings (Music)

I lost about 90% of my ratings in Music. Even after I restore my backed up 'Music Library' the ratings are visible at first but disappear after about 15 seconds.

Help ... I put a considerable amount of effort in getting most of my songs rated.

I'm on macOS Catalina 10.15.5 (ie fully up-to-date) with a iTunes Match.

Can't open iTunes Library.itl in Music on new Mac. New Mac running Monterey. Old Mac running High Sierra. I've copied the full library from the old Mac to an external disc and I'm trying to point the new Mac towards the iTunes Library.itl file to import the library. All that happens however is a spinning circle and "Loading", going nowhere. I've looked at the structure of the folder and it seems normal - I've never had it split between locations. (I've also tried deleting the existing Music folder and replacing it with the old one - Music opens up and asks me to choose a library, but this doesn't even result in the loading circle, it just doesn't work at all.) Can anyone offer a solution? Thanks

Tesla Apple Music integration In the last Tesla software update, Apple Music integration has been added. However explicit content cannot be played although I have it allowed on every device of mine and even on Apple Music website. Anyone has any idea how to toggle explicit content filtering off?

Further info ... this seems related to iCloud/iTunes Match ... when I login to another Mac and start iTunes (the Mini is on High Sierra) the same happens ... all my ratings disappear! (I have Home Sharing switched on but I don't think that applies to ratings).

What a nuisance!
