Handoff

Which devices does this work on? I have an old MacBook but a new iPhone. I’m getting a new MacBook soon, but I was wondering which ones this feature worked with.

How can I setup the handoff feature on iPhone and iPad? I cannot seem to use the handoff feature, which would be so convenient for me. Does anyone have tips to set it up?
