Trouble connecting Bose speaker via Bluetooth

My iPad initially paired with my Bose wireless portable speaker. It is also successfully paired with Bose headphones. After a while, the Bluetooth stopped working with the speaker but the headphones still work. I’ve tried all the solutions listed in the chats, but none of them worked. My iPad is identified by the headphones as iPad4. I think that’s how the speaker worked at first. All of a sudden, it says it’s recognizable as iPad 5. My headphones still call it iPad 4. How did this happen and is it possibly why the speaker no longer connects? What should I do? There is no Apple store around me and I think they’re all closed anyway.
