Best SSD For 2007 Macbook

Ive Recently Bought a Second Hand 2007 Mac For Light Use


its an Intel Core 2 Duo 2.16GHZ In Black


Though Its Running Rather Slow , Ive Been Advised To Get An SSD



Though Ive Been Told Sata III Could Bug Out In These Older Macs

Does Anyone Have A Solution To The Issue

As I Really Wanna Make This Mac Faster

The SATA III version isn't directly compatible with older MacBook series;

but some build versions could see a SATA III, backward compatible to v. II.

Note this link ^ can be useful to find most upgrade parts for Macs.


Of these examples, the best possible of compatible product is OWC's.

See their 'installation instruction videos' they're free to use.


And once adapted for use, the format should remain HFS+ ~ While set

to use 'Trim' with SSD, is a usual instruction; for these to work with Mac.

Other models may differ a bit, from your build year model compatibility.
