Is there a way to disable IPv6 on iOS?

Some may ask why would you want to disable it? The simplest and most basic reason is because IPv6 leaks your IP address when using a VPN. Most VPN premium providers still don't support IPv6,

I'll explain that my ISP is having issues with IPv6 and (one) of those internet evils called captchas. Over the last few months something has changed with captchas which fail despite getting them right. I've tested this out over fifty times and I have no issue with the successful completion of captchas when using a VPN withOUT IPv6 or if I disable IPv6 on my PC. However, m OEM ISP provided XB6 router has disabled functionality regarding IPv6. It can only be disabled by manually doing so on the actual device like tablet, phone, or PC (if capable). The other option is to buy a third party router and bridge the modem to obtain manual configuration for IPv6.

How to disable IPv6 on an iPhone Hi, I use to be able to disable the IPv6 on my iPhone, and now I cannot find the settings. Does anyone know where this settings is? I saw another question about this and someone asked in a response, why would you want too. I'm researching my network and using Wireshark. With my Windows 10 Laptop tethered via ether cable to my router and iPhone active, I had not yet connected my router to the modem. In the Wireshark capture, I saw there was IPv6 activity going on and it had my iPhones WIFI Mac Address but it said that was not a default MAC address. I'm not sure the reason why that is or how I would get a WIFI Mac Address from my router that was a default. But, I wanted to disable the IPv6 Traffic. I'm trying to eliminate the possible of a neighbor really close by hacking my computer and using my IPv6 Address as a way to not get caught. So, there is a good answer for you. I do need to disable it at least temporary till this issues is resolved.

I have not seen anywhere on an iPhone with IPv6 configuration tab . You have an option to switch to network which has only IPv4 and IPv6 disabled.

I'm going to go out on a limb. I believe you were trying to say that there's no option. But to add to the confusion, you were trying to say that Confused_Canuck must connect to another wifi access point that doesn't have IPv6. Now, if that's the case, that's like saying Confused_Canuck should use an Android device to connect to the AP because on an Android device you can disable IPv6. There wasn't any point to your post at all. If Confused_Canuck could connect to another AP he/she wouldn't likely be raising the question??

hmm..if there's no configuration tab, how can I switch to network which has only IPv4 and IPv6 disabled?
