So I was looking at my folders and I noticed that I had a folder called "CoreParsec". I noticed that it had a similar name to UtilityParse, and I have been having malware/adware problems (pretty sure it's adware).
Could that folder be what's causing this or is it needed on an apple computer?

I have an empty CoreParsec folder in my local ~/Library/Application Support folder on Catalina 10.15.5. No idea what created it, and the creation date was Oct 23, 2019. I just removed mine.
It’s a folder where suggestions for things like Spotlight, Messages, calendar etc are saved.
Mine was created April 3rd, about 5 months after I got my mac. I totally forgot about the date. Thanks!
