Changing my pop3 to IMAP on my iMac

I have two emails on my iMac. One account has pop3 and the other is IMAP I need to convert all thirty three thousand emails to IMAP. I really don't want to delete or lose any email. How do i go about this procedure.

Help!!

You will need to reach out to your ISP to do that. The Mail app can manage either POP or IMAP mail. Assuming you have been backing up your computer using Time Machine your mail is not at risk. Worst case you can always restore mail or any other files you may lose assuming you have a working Time Machine backup.
