Inline Images

Whenever I receive images from email, it says, Blocked Images. When I touch Blocked Images, the images appear .

when I try to send images on email, the receiver sees them as Inline, and cannot open them.

Never was like this before.

Hey there GLC302,

Thanks for reaching out to Apple Support Communities. We understand you’re having an issue receiving and sending images using Mail in iOS. We’ll be happy to help with this.

If you haven’t already, make sure your iPhone is up to date:

Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

If this doesn’t help, try sending the image using a different account on your iPhone if you have one. If it works as expected with another account, try removing the affected account, restarting, then adding it back. Follow the steps under “Remove your email account and set it up again” from this link:

If you can’t send email on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

You can restart your iPhone using the steps here:

Restart your iPhone

If the issue continues, go to the mail providers website in Safari and see if the issue continues there. If it does, this may be a setting coming directly from the account.

We hope this helps.

Take care.
