I have tried to use iTunes to update my iPhone 6s software but it is still saying that the 12.4.7 version is the up to date version. Is there anything else I can try? Seems like I may need to bring it to the Apple store.
Are you sure you have an iPhone 6s and not just an iPhone 6? The latter can only be updated to 12.4.6.
Settings > General > About will show you the iPhone model.
As mentioned above, you probably have an iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, or iPhone 5s, if you can’t upgrade past 12.4.7.
