Not enough storage to backup iPhone after iOS 13.5.1
iOS 13.5.1 continues to be a nightmare for me on my iPhone 6s pertaining to Storage / Memory issues. I have a separate post where I mentioned that I'd already deleted Gigabytes worth of Apps, Photos, and Videos due to a "Storage Full" warning that persistently returns as the "Other" category fills up constantly. Even accounting for iMessage attachments I can't allocate what the issue is, but one suggestion was to conduct a Sync / Backup with your computer to try and clear logs/cache.
So... I plug in my iPhone to my MBP to conduct a locally encrypted back-up, just as I'd done a few days back just prior to the upgrade. Alas, I receive a ridiculous "not enough free space is available on this Mac" message when I have over 500 GB free to backup a 64 GB phone.
C'mon Apple, the Catalina upgrade was painful enough... what gives?
