My phone wants activation lock and the previous owner has died

Hello, I have bought another iPhone and it wants activation lock but I don’t know the Apple ID and password. The previous owner died due to corona virus and I can’t unlock the activation now what should I do? Please help me

If you mean "activation lock", neither we (just users like you) nor Apple can help you, sorry, unless you are the original owner and you still have the proof of purchase (receipt/invoice), or the dead person is your family member (should be this case, see this support article:--> How to request access to a deceased family member's Apple accounts )

Shouldn’t be this case, activation lock can be removed only by the previous owner, with the credentials that were used to activate that iPhone/iPad. Without those credentials, that device is useless to you.
