music pre-equalizer settings

Two issues:

1- I read that it's possible to transfer volume adjustments for individual songs from desktop to iPhone. Can this be done? I'm assuming it can since I am able to transfer pre-equalizer settings from desktop to the phone.

2- Every time I turn on my car and the bluetooth starts to connect to the phone (or if I plug in the USB) the equalizer settings I chose on the phone turns off. When I exit the car it goes back to the setting. Only in my car. The music system in my car is basic. I drive a 2019 Honda CRV LX.

Thanks. Yes I had a feeling the car was the issue. Eventually I will replace the cars audio system with a new one. Aside from the car issue is there anything you'd recommend I can do with the phone settings so that the equalizer doesn't change on me? Also should I also do anything in the Music desktop when transferring songs to the phone as well? Thanks.

Hi toniguez,

We understand you'd like to transfer equalizer settings from Desktop to iPhone, and continue using them in your car.

At this time, there is no way to transfer equalizer settings, as these are based on the individual device. This is also why the equalizer settings are disabled when connecting to your car stereo.

If you would like to see this feature implemented in future, you can request it here: Feedback - iPhone.

Hope this helps!

Hi. Thanks so much for responding. Actually yes you can transfer them from the desktop to the iPhone. There have been posts in the past explaining how to do it and I could never transfer them until I came across one post which did the opposite and I was finally able to do it. I can show you if you'd like. Forget the first part it's the second one that has me confused. Every time I turn on my car and the bluetooth starts to connect to the phone (or if I plug in the USB) the equalizer settings I chose on the phone turns off. When I exit the car it goes back to the setting.

HI toniguez,

Transferring volume(s) for individual songs is a different function than transferring equalizer settings.

Equalizer settings are device based. This is why the equalizer settings revert to default when connecting to your car stereo.

It may be worth contacting your car manufacturer for further support on this issue.

Thanks again!
