I pressed passwords and security, but there is no button that says turn on 2-factor authentication?

Not all Apple IDs can be set up with 2 Factor Authentication. See if anything below helps.

 Two Factor Authentification availability.

Contact Apple for help with Apple ID account security - Apple Support.   (Link doesn’t always load)  


Get Support          Work through the screens to get a chat option. You may have to pick a slightly different problem.
