Water Damage

i Spilled water on m brand new MacBook Air and it got inside the screen and I don’t know what to do. I just got it on Friday and I’m so scared.

Accidental minimal water damage I accidentally spilled a bit of water onto my MacBook Pro. If anything, majority went underneath laptop (onto my desk) and a bit on the trackpad and beside it. I dried it to the best of my ability, turned it off and will flip it upside down for 48 hours. If it turns on in 48 hours, should I still bring it into Apple to get looked at? I worry down the road it may cause issues, but I am also a poor college student that truly cannot afford any additional services I may need. Any help or advice is greatly appreciated.

you will need to contact Apple or an authorized service provider for an evaluation.
