Uploading video to FB

it seems like I am unable to upload video to FB taken with Camera because the file size is too big (114M). If so, how do I reduce the video file size on iPad? I have gone into Settings and done all there is to do. It also seems like this may not be the issue because I was able to upload an even larger file size a year ago.
