Downloading problem

This may be expected behavior depending on the app. Some apps allow you to download in the background but others do not. Please let us know which apps are exhibiting this behavior.

Thanks for providing that detail. If you’re downloading a video in the Mail app, it should be coming in as an attachment. Mail may download new messages in the background but if you’re downloading an attachment, you may need to stay within the app itself until the download completes.
