Sharing documents

Hi,

In Preferences, 'sharing with my family' is activated (has been activated for quite some time).

Yet, when I want to work together on a Pages document and I want to send the link to my wife, she cannot open the document, but gets the notification 'Doc not found, the owner has stopped sharing or you have no authority to open it' instead.

This also happens with other documents.

Can anyone hint me in the right direction to solve this?

Thanks a lot!

I believe you have to share the Pages document you wish to work on collaboratively with your wife directly from Pages --

Because from what it says here on Family Sharing - Set up Family Sharing - Apple Support, I don't believe it could be shared from within there even though it shows....

  • You can share eligible App Store, music, movie, TV, and book purchases, an Apple Music Family Subscription, an Apple Arcade subscription, an Apple News+ subscription, Apple TV channels subscriptions, an Apple TV+ subscription, and an iCloud storage plan.
  • Your family can also share a photo album, calendar, and reminders.
  • You can share a Personal Hotspot with your family.
  • You can share your location with one another and help locate each others’ missing devices with Find My.
  • And if you have children under 13**, you can manage your child's account, turn on Ask to Buy, or use Screen Time with Family Sharing.
