I'm new to Mac OS. I'm running Catalina and I can't find the Desktop Pictures folder.

/System/Library/Desktop Pictures

Or if you are seeking the actual users Picture folder, you will need to enable it in Finder Preferences : Sidebar, so it will appear in your Finder window sidebar. Otherwise, the system locations of Desktop Pictures as dialabrain has informed.
You're welcome. There are actually 3 Library folders. The user Library doesn't contain a Desktop Pictures folder.
Thanks, it was the second one! However it's odd that the Library in the System folder is a different Library from the one outside the folder.
