iPhone SE (2020) and Haptic on Home Button

Can Apple PLEASE give us the option to completely turn off this feature for the home button!! Even when set a 1 it is still too loud. A lot of us read or use our phones at night in bed. I already know my wife is going to complain about this noise. My iPhone 6 I can press quietly. What a terrible feature.

I might return the phone.
