How do I recover unsaved pages documents after I deleted the app pages?

I accidentally deleted the app pages on my iPad and had documents that weren’t saved on my iCloud or any sort of drive!! I downloaded the app back again,however, I couldn’t find my document!!! Could someone please help me restore it as soon as possible? (It was a school assignment 😬)

Had you saved each document as a first step after opening it, Pages would have continued to save updated versions as you edited the document. As you had not made that initial save, the documents were deleted as you closed Pages.

Regard this as an object lesson that will help you avoid a similar situation in the future.
