Delete the Netflix, HBO apps and reinstall them.
Why don't you ask Netflix or HBO max or look at their support site.
Just a simple some weeks ago it was working and can watch with subtitle and not same phone and same movie can not see subtitles
and when u used to an other iPhone you can see subtitles with same movie
do u think this can be hbo max problem or device problem?

Any issues you are having with Netflix or HBO max needs to be addressed by them.
I can see same movie some weeks ago but not not possible and also I can see no problem with other iPhone
I did it only HBO Max is a problem with new iPhone pro 11 Max!!
