Does low power mode limit max screen brightness?

Does low power mode limit max screen brightness? I usually have it on, and as far as I know it’s not bad to always have it on, but my screen looks a little too dark and I’m wondering if it’s because of low power mode being on.

Yes. The screen is one of the bigger power draws on any system, and turning down brightness is one of the simplest ways to improve/lower power usage.
