how do i transfer new iphone after breaking other iphone. service wont transfer

It will not let my previous number show up on my new replacement phone. I broke my phone they sent me a brand new one I set it up and my iCloud restored everything except for my service meaning I can’t receive texts or calls or make them myself. When I go to settings under cellular it asks add cellular plan. I can’t figure this out and of course nobody from Verizon will answer..

Who sent the phone? I think the one responsible for syncing your cellular plan is either your service provider or the one who sent the replacement phone. Better to reach out to both of them.
Yes, Verizon support is really hard to reach due to the pandemic but you could try. Sometimes calls get in.
Check it with your service provider.
my replacement device will not transfer my service over from previous phone. My new iphone has been restored and all previous data is available but no data plan or service is on the device.
