can I delete duplicate music files "in bulk" or do I have to delete them one by one?

It sounds like you are trying to delete multiple songs from your iTunes Library. When looking at a list of songs in the iTunes library, you can use the Ctrl key to select multiple random files or the Shift key to select a range of files. Whatever command you choose will apply to all of the selected files.
