My iPad is showing individual messages in a group thread under the individuals names on my iPad but in the group thread on my phone. I never had this problem with my Mac how to fix?

My iPad Pro is showing messages from a group on my iPhone as individual messages from each person rather than in a group thread. I replaced my Mac with this ipad and never had this issue on my Mac. I think the only difference is that there is a messaging forwarding feature now from iCloud maybe that’s causing the issue?

Hello,

Try resetting iPad's settings in Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings. Be certain you do not select Erase All Content and Settings as this will erase all of your information. It is a good idea to perform a backup of your iPad prior to resetting its settings.

Omg you’re a genius! I spent hrs on the phone with apple support and they couldn’t fix it!!! Had me contacting all my group members to see what versions of their operating systems they were using!
