Where are the Sound Effects in FCPX Trial? I tried resetting the custom settings, nothing. Then I downloaded the FCPcontent.dmg file, but I get an error that it can not find a qualifying copy of Final Cut Pro X when I try to install?
Sound Effects are usually downloaded from the FCP X File menu, Additional Content.
However, the trial version has some restrictions.
Apple decides what gets withheld.
I think the Sound Effects are left out these days as does the Photos link.

Ahhhh yes I see it now, thank you for confirming Sound Effects NOT included in trial version, that is ridiculous, I would think they would want us to enjoy the program to its fullest while in trial, especially with so many users going the Davinci for FREE. Well, it is what it is. I guess I'll go back to Davinci to see if I can make it work for me, it seems a little too robust, but at least everything is included. Thank you both for responding.

Apple does not include access to the FCP sound effects for the trial version.
I don't see Additional Content under File/Menu? And that's what I'm trying to verify, if Apple does not include the Sound Effects in the trial?
